RESOURCE TASK FORCE PARISH ASSEMBLIES

• Saturday, October 12, after the 4:00 p.m. Mass at Saint Adalbert Church
• Sunday, October 13, after the 11:00 a.m. Mass at Saint Peter Church

As was previously communicated to all parishioners, “To stabilize and become as healthy as possible before we fully merge, we must clarify the needs of our parish. At Prince of Peace we need to stabilize the finances and determine which church will best serve us for the future.”

A Resource Task Force was formed to study and recommend sustainable building and structural needs for On Mission.
The Resource Task Force met over the summer, collecting and studying data. This data includes engineering studies, contractor reviews with cost estimates, parking, property building values, demographic and sacramental information, parish finances, a “Profile of the Pews” survey and more. After the review the Resource Task Force presented their recommendation to the Parish Leadership Team, who accepted it. The recommendation was reviewed by the Pastoral and Finance Councils for input and continued discernment.

The recommendation will be presented to the Prince of Peace Parish during two parish assemblies. The assemblies are scheduled for Saturday, October 12, after the 4:00 p.m. Mass at Saint Adalbert Church, and Sunday, October 13, after the 11:00 a.m. Mass at Saint Peter Church. Please plan to attend one of the two assemblies.
